Mileage: 15 Mi | Highlights: The salt-stained Pacific pier, the first heavy scent of ocean mist. Notes: The road begins where the land ends. Iconic pavement ahead.

Mileage: 160 Mi | Highlights: Roy’s neon in Amboy, desolate Bagdad, sun-bleached desert. Notes: Arid silence and heat ripples on the long, lonely blacktop.

Arizona High Road
Mileage: 145 Mi | Highlights: Seligman’s vintage storefronts, Mr D’z Diner, rusted relics. Notes: Frozen in time. Every mile is a postcard from the fifties.
Mileage: 120 Mi | Highlights: Winding mountain passes, ponderosa pines, the cool alpine air. Notes: Elevation climbs as the red dirt shifts to deep forest green.

Mileage: 180 Mi | Highlights: Painted Desert colors, Wigwam Motel, vast horizon lines. Notes: The earth turns technicolor under an endless, open Southwestern sky.
Mileage: 100 Mi | Highlights: El Rancho’s wood beams, Gallup’s neon glow, vintage rail lines. Notes: Trading posts and heavy history lining the old main street.

Mileage: 130 Mi | Highlights: Continental Divide summit, red sandstone mesas, heavy iron. Notes: Crossing the spine of America. The terrain is rugged and ancient.
Mileage: 195 Mi | Highlights: Blue Swallow’s buzz, Teepee Curios, Glenrio’s ghost stop. Notes: Decaying asphalt and flickering signs lead the way to the border.
